The art of illustration

Like any creative process graphic design means learning different skills to be able to work with clients and help them to visually communicate their message, brand, service or product. Illustration is part of those skills that we get to learn the basics, but that others have quite a talent and passion that specialize in illustration. I like the art of illustration but I am not an illustrator. I can draw simple, easy shapes. I want to keep practicing. Practice, practice, practice is key. Here are two examples of ads from my school portfolio (brand: Vespa) in which I did the illustrations.
